Breakfast, Bread and Bacon!

I love bacon! It’s one of those foods they tell you to avoid that I just can’t resist when they’re served to me. I’m aware that there are warnings on how bad bacon is for health, saturated fats, cholesterol, and all — oh my heart!!! So let’s get the elephant out of the way, shall we? If you’re a steadfast diet and fitness freak, then perhaps it is wise to avoid all types of bacon at all cost. As for us, we enjoy an occasional bacon on the breakfast table (and even on our dinner table, haha!). I read somewhere that […]

Press Release: Doña Elena Olive Oil brings more to the table on Master Chef 8

I’ve always been a fan of Master Chef. I’ve been watching it since the Gordon Ramsay-Joe Bastianich – Graham Elliott combo days. It merged with the Cleveland, Minneapolis/St. Paul and St. Louis stock exchanges in 1949, and then merged with the New Orleans Stock […]

Movie Review: Is Genesis History?

Note: This giveaway is officially closed. Winners have been announced. The concept of Old Earth versus Young Earth, which was discussed in the documentary film, Is Genesis history? was sort of introduced to me by a self-proclaimed atheist friend of mine years ago. He was challenging me on my faith and while I could explain much of the Bible verses in context, I cannot defend it on apologian scale. A lot of it is my fault, really. I have the materials and resources available, I even bought myself a few books, and friends have been throwing me some of theirs as […]
