My 21Days No Junk Food Challenge: Consistency

I’m blogging about my 21-Days No junk food challenge a little later than planned. I went into it back in April (?), see? I’m not even sure when I started. I actually documented it on my Facebook but I feel too lazy to scroll back to find it. Anyway, I first saw it posted on Binondo Mommy’ s FB status. I’ve been on a  lookout for a diet and workout program that’s doable, affordable and fits into our routine. Signing up with a personal trainer is ideal but right now, my best option is to find something that I can do […]

Toys, Technology and Tablets: The latest toys by Ban Kee

When  Monica of Absolutely Mommy extended an invitation to me through my good friend and fellow blogger, Mommy Tina of Truly Rich Mom for a post-mother’s day lunch sponsored by Ban Kee, I was ecstatic. It wasn’t much about the lunch, it was more because the event doubles as an introduction of some of the toys that the company distributes and we were encouraged to bring our children. I decided to take our 5-year old Lukas with me. The event was held at Cravings, Shangri la mall which is not that far a cab ride. We got to the venue way before […]

5 Blockbuster reasons why you should go to Movie Stars Cafe

I was so excited when I learned that I was given the opportunity to take my family for a night out at the Movie Stars Cafe at SM MOA by the bay on April 30. Friends of ours had a date there last year via a discount site but I didn’t quite catch the idea of how amazing the place was.  But all’s good because I like pleasant surprises, especially if it’s the entertainment kind. Having been in the live entertainment circuit for a big chunk of  our professional lives, Jay and I are very choosy with the kinds of entertainment that we go to. That, […]

Stations of the Cross at Bonifacio High Street, BGC

I learned about Church Simplified’s Walkway: Reflections on the Stations of the Cross  from a friend who gushed about it on Facebook. When I mentioned it to other friends, they were just as excited in telling me about it. One thing I like about Bonifacio High Street in BGC is that they hold events to highlight holidays and celebrations which is great for home schooling families. I’ve seen the one highlighting Chinese New Year early this year but it was the Great British Festival that got me looking out for more. We caught last year’s presentation but it was on a […]
