The housewife goes to Blogapalooza 2014

Blogapalooza 2014 was hands-down the most anticipated blogger event of the year, BOW! Seriously, almost everyone from Mommy Bloggers Philippines who signed up couldn’t contain our excitement. We talked, planned and prepared for it. Expectations ran high especially for the first-timers, hearing what fellow bloggers who had gone to last year’s had to say about it. One of the things I like about the event was that the venue was just walking distance from where I live. My hubby and I, along with our kids, frequent SM Aura, so I’m pretty much familiar with that mall. The good stuff! The good […]

Letting kids be kids at Kids Workshop

Update: A fellow mom blogger mentioned on Facebook that Kids Workshop has closed business in Greenhills. FYI. When I received a confirmation email for us to check out Kids Workshop,  I knew our kids were in for a treat, after all, what kid can resist a play venue, right? Getting down and personal with Judith Cinco of Pic Watch

I recently chatted with Judith Cinco of Pic Watch over Facebook which is not really unusual for us, after all, Judith and her husband, Rudyard, are principal sponsors at our wedding and very dear friends to me and Jay. Judith and Rudyard have always had a knack for business. After giving up a career in basketball, Rudyard went into a car dealing business which later on gave birth to other ventures such as a car wash and a restaurant. Judith, on the other hand, made a leap from a successful corporate career to entrepreneurship by putting up a business distributing one of her life’s little joys […]

Blogapalooza 2014 is happening this September (and I am going!)

I first had my taste of blogging when Multiply became a hit among internet users around 2004(?) Okay, I’m not really sure because I was a bit behind in blogging and networking during those years. I had a Friendster account but I forgot my password in a matter of two weeks. Anyway, Multiply shut down and took all my pictures with it. Eventually, I put up my first blog, Raising a King, via Vox but Vox was taken down too, maybe because it wasn’t doing as well as Blogspot and WordPress. So I signed up for a Blogspot account, then eventually took […]
